I'm 41 and I feel like crap!

My Goals:
I started my weight loss journey in December of 2009 weighing in at 309 pounds. At that time my first goal was to get to 232 pounds. I didn't really have a time frame, I just did what I could to work my way down the scale. I reached that goal in April of 2011. I went 4 pounds past it even! Then I hit a slump. A 7 month slump where I re-gained 40 pounds. I am now back up to 268.

So... my first goal is to lose the 40 pounds I have regained. I would like to do that by June 1st.

My second goal is to get to 205 pounds by the end of 2012.

My Program:
For the first time in my life I am following a low calorie diet and really paying attention to everything I put into my mouth.

In the past I always followed low fat diets and thought they were working, but obviously I was very, very wrong.

Now I am logging all the food I eat, even the ones I know I shouldn't have. I am also challenging myself to work off the bad foods I eat. For example, if I eat a 300 calorie bowl of ice cream, I know I have to power walk for 2 miles to work that ice cream off. So, if I want that ice cream I am going to have to work for it!

Personal Information:
Divorce causes a person to seriously re-evaluate everything about themselves. My ex husband was very generous with the compliments, even as my weight soared and soared. When I was married I didn't care because I felt secure. When that part of my life was over I had to take a long, hard look at myself and face a lot of realities. My weight was one that really hit me hard. I know that if I ever want to be in a meaningful relationship again I have to fix myself first. I have to love myself and accept myself. Right now I don't accept my weight so I have to fix that.

Ok... enough of that sad story :)

I work full time at a casino and I genuinely love my job! I see myself spending many years with this company, and I look forward to it! I also work part time at Subway and go to school. So, I'm a very busy person.

My family and friends are the most important things in my life. I always put their needs and wants before my own. It's important to me.

Other Information:
I spend most of my time hanging out with my boyfriend, my sister, my brother-in-law and my roommate.

I love romantic comedies, Law & Order, game shows and sitcoms like The Office, Community, That 70's Show, King of Queens, etc.

I like to read Patricia Cornwell.

My biggest hobby is searching for freebies and deals on the web. It's a rush to me to walk into a store and get $50 worth of stuff for $22.
