After getting married to my prince charming in 2008, I have totally gained those after marriage pounds, and this is the journey of me loosing them. No one is closer to me in this journey than my husband, and God. I attend a wonderful church in Tacoma, WA and it has helped me stay motivated and give me that extra push I need. My husband, God bless him, says he loves me just the way I am. I love him for that, he also understands I want to live a healthier life style.

I love support, and it would be great to meet people in the area who are Sparkers too. Nothing can help someone on their goals more than a great support network.

My Goals:
Be a more healthy, Faithful, God fearing succesful Christian.

I would like to get back down to the 140's. But more than just having a weight goal I have a health goal. Whats the point of loosing weight if you don't change your lifestyle, because you will just gain it all back. So I am putting forth my best foot tolive a healthier lifestyle.


My Program:
Faith in the Lord, faith in my self, and faith in my choices. My program is based on choices. We are faced with them every day and the choices we dont really think about which are the most inmportant, is what we put in our bodies! Just by making healthier choices in what I eat has already shown progress.

As far as fitness, I do what I can when I can. Trying to push myself everyday.



Personal Information:
My husband and I have 4 dogs. I am an active Lions Member and I help teach and outdoor adventures program to elemantary school children. I love baking, which really helps the figure lol. I am one of the happiest people in the world right now. If I were healthier and more toned I would be the happiest person in the world. I have a truely wonderful life, and I have God and my husband to thank for that!

    I am NOWHERE near being able to RUN 5K yet. Right now, I am sticking to intervals of jogging and walking. There are several programs out there designed to help you train for events like this. One that several friends have really liked is the Adidas MiCoach. It can be used on the computer, or as an app on Blackberry or iPhone. Couch 2 5K is another popular program, but it can be REALLY beyond true beginners. Basically what you need to do is look around for a program that fits your ability and style. And remember that it will take some work, and you will have to start small and work your way up. Don't be discouraged if you struggle at first... the vast majority of us do!
