2011 was a whirl wind. I just turned 40, was in the best shape of my life, happy, healthy and strong! I had lost 85 lbs & kept it off long enough to be selected as a Shape Magazine Success Story. I was on top of the world. Then, I forgot. I forgot what got me there. I turned up my nose at tracking my nutrition. A knee injury sidelined my fitness routine. The death of my mom tortured my soul and I spiraled out of control. I shelved my old profile with my milestones/challenges into a blog so I could rewrite my future. Here are my new MILESTONES & THOUGHTS: 01/01/08 ... 215.1 08/01/10 ... 129.0 02/09/20 ... 206.5

Fitness Minutes: 40,099

My Goals:
~ Get into single digit jeans (DONE)
~ Live a more active lifestyle (DOING IT!!)
~ Have more confidence (much improvement!)
~KEEP UP WITH MY KIDS (will that ever happen?)
~ Be a positive role model to my children in every way I can.

New for 2010:
~Run 10K in races
~60 push ups in a minute
~Improve balance & core strength
~Sculpt my buns & thighs


My Program:
Eat less (1500 kcal)

Exersize more

Drink a lot of water

Always reaching for a new goal



Personal Information:
This is the last year I get to enjoy my 30's.

I am a recent Bay Area transplant to a small, Northern California town. Married for 10 years, but I've loved him since I was 15 years old. We have two beautiful, brilliant and energetic children that amaze me more and more every day.


Other Information:
I am proud to say that I was featured as a success story in the February 2011 edition of Shape Magazine. The same month I turned 40.

My advice to all is to start small and challenge what you think you are capable of.
