Hi, I am an active Grandmother and working nurse. I enjoy hiking, swimming and photography. The most important thing in my life is my relationship with Jesus. I believe what the Bible teaches about taking care of our body and it is a temple for the Lord and made by Him. It is a new year and I am updating my goals.
1:Daily time with my Lord, Jesus This has its own, built in reward
2: 5lbs of wt loss a month until I meet my goal wt of 135 lbs.
Reward each month that I reach this goal, I get to purchase a new piece of Bob whit dinner ware that I am collecting.
3: exercise 4 days a week, Strength training. 2 x a week
reward: a trip to an antique shop for each two weeks of meeting this goal.

I have just lost my first 5 pounds after many starts, stops regains. Now it is my goal to KEEP GOING! I need to loose 45 pounds for my health.

I have lost 16 pounds since my start in Jan. I have been consistent for 6 weeks now and am seeing slow, healthy wt loss, and a nicer looking stronger me.
Goals:
Daily time with Jesus
Continued abstinence from alcohol
Continued healthy work on my marriage
0.5-2 pounds wt loss per week
At least 30 minute of fitness minutes other then work walking per day
My Program:
Using the site to moniter my nutrition, fitness and progress. Gardening veggies and preparing my own meals.
Personal Information:
I have lived in Minesota all of my life, and love it here. I am a pediatric nurse, have worked at Children's Hospitals of Mn for 22 years. I love working with kids and playing with my grandchildren, gardening, biking, swimming, hiking and photography. Most of all I love Jesus my Savior and Vern my husband.
Other Information:
