I can't believe I am 163lbs and seriously CHUNKY! I bought the Jillian Michaels book Making The Cut--- And I am going to kick butt or die tryin'

My name is Stacey.... I live in MoTown CA.
I am very close to being the BIG 40 and I really would like to be 140... What can I say, seems like I have been fighting this weight for some time now. Too funny! I found an old diet I tried over 12 years ago, I thought I was fat at 148. I would kill to be that now!

I find myself falling into my moms habits of yo-yo dieting, and she was very unhappy. So I decided to go on weight watchers a couple of years ago and I actually saw 146 but it only lasted for a few days and then up to 153 and then another huge jump up to 163. Seems like everytime I get close I sabotage myself... I guess i'm afraid to succeed? what else could it be???

I am just sick. Sick, sick, sick & tired of the belly and extra pounds! It is time to get serious and get "ME" on track! It is time to "BELIEVE" in me and succeed at this once and for all!

    I stopped making time to track my food-

    and honestly that's when i stopped seeing improvements

    I watched so carefully what i ate when i knew i had to track it- and wanted to stay below my calories

    I've started tracking my food again.. I'm so much more careful what i eat

    and I'm really hoping sto see more improvements soon.

    Have you been able to get closer to your goals? Or did you get to even meet your goals? I’ve been working pretty hard all summer. I’ve gotten closer to my goal.. but I’m not quite there yet. I found this really cool quote online and so I decided I wanted to share it.

    Hi Stace!! Thanks for the add. Welcome to spark!! Remember that your weight is just a number. Focus on changing your body. You can be strong and lean and not be at your "ideal" weight but wear a small size.
