My name is Stacie. I'm a divorced mom with 2 adult children, a 10 year old, a balinese cat and a golden retriever. I started this journey with between 150 and 175 lbs to lose. It's time to get the rest of the excess weight off. Size 10 pants, here I come!

My Goals:
Eat Right + Exercise Often = Feel Better + Live Longer!

My Program:
Eating 1700-1750 calories a day. 60 minutes of cardio daily, and 45-60 minutes of strength training 3 days a week. Working with a nutritionist/health coach and a personal trainer.

Personal Information:
7/18/2011 - I had an epiphany the other day. This whole weight loss journey I'm on is just a series of small decisions, not some big daunting task.

8/3/2011 - The advice that changed my life: "You aren't eating at night because you're weak and you have no willpower. You're eating because you're tired and your body wants energy. Go to bed instead of eating, and make sure to get at least 7 hours of sleep a night."

8/15/2011 - When it's that time of the month, the scale is a dirty rotten liar and should be avoided at all costs.

9/1/2011 - I really CAN do anything I set my mind to.

Other Information:
11/28/2011 - Sometimes you have to take a deep breath and start over. It's okay to be human.

1/16/2012 - No matter what, track it BEFORE you eat it.

2/6/2012 - Sometimes a plateau isn't a plateau. If you've honestly been doing what you should be doing for more than a month and you're not seeing results, go to the doctor. You may have an underlying health issue impeding your progress.

    Very disappointed in you - How can you have a golden retreiver and not be a member of the Golden Retriever team? The team not very active but I sent you an invite via Spark Mail.

    Check out your friend feed to see the picture I just uploaded. It was later in the day after my wife's fathers funeral (I ditched the suit right afterwards).

    How are you today? I am sure you are kickin' it Spark style! LOL

    I am doing great! I am on day 3 of my new plan (which is the same as my plan before but, I am ACTUALLY doing it now. LOL)

    Day 1: I only went over my calories a little bit and I drank almost 8 glasses of water. I didn't workout though. I was tired and bloated all day.
    Day 2: I stayed inside my calorie range, ate more veggies and less carbs, I exercised 50 minutes and drank all 8 glasses of water! WooHoo!
    Day 3 (today): Started off good. Eating healthy, resisting sweets, drinking my water and planning exercise for tonight. Thinking positive and feeling good.

    Have a great week and keep in touch...We CAN do this...TOGETHER! You are an inspiration to me!
