My name is Stacie. I'm a divorced mom with 2 adult children, a 10 year old, a balinese cat and a golden retriever. I started this journey with between 150 and 175 lbs to lose. It's time to get the rest of the excess weight off. Size 10 pants, here I come!

Fitness Minutes: 15,383

My Goals:
Eat Right + Exercise Often = Feel Better + Live Longer!

My Program:
Eating 1700-1750 calories a day. 60 minutes of cardio daily, and 45-60 minutes of strength training 3 days a week. Working with a nutritionist/health coach and a personal trainer.

Personal Information:
7/18/2011 - I had an epiphany the other day. This whole weight loss journey I'm on is just a series of small decisions, not some big daunting task.

8/3/2011 - The advice that changed my life: "You aren't eating at night because you're weak and you have no willpower. You're eating because you're tired and your body wants energy. Go to bed instead of eating, and make sure to get at least 7 hours of sleep a night."

8/15/2011 - When it's that time of the month, the scale is a dirty rotten liar and should be avoided at all costs.

9/1/2011 - I really CAN do anything I set my mind to.

Other Information:
11/28/2011 - Sometimes you have to take a deep breath and start over. It's okay to be human.

1/16/2012 - No matter what, track it BEFORE you eat it.

2/6/2012 - Sometimes a plateau isn't a plateau. If you've honestly been doing what you should be doing for more than a month and you're not seeing results, go to the doctor. You may have an underlying health issue impeding your progress.

    Congrats on completing Stage one and hitting 1000 fitness minutes! I get excited every time I hit a big number like that in a month! WAY TO GO!

    Hi Stacy! Thanks - I think that sometimes the hardest part of all of this is being honest with yourself! When you do that .. the small decisions start to come easier - and the the fitness you have to make a priorty! I have 4 girls - and they are wonderful, but mom needs to make herself a priorty as well! You go girl .. I have added you as well! If you need me, I am here to support - give me a shout! I will be sending you a sparkmessage about once a week to check in .. I like to do that because we all get busy - and it is nice to have someone looking out for you! You are worth it!
