Journey to a Healthy Me - Recommitment to Myself
Hello,
I am on a journey to lose 50 - 60 pounds. It has been hard to do this and make the appropriate changes. Change is extremely hard for me. I resist big changes. This is probably why I am exercising in spurts. I get good at doing it consistently for a short period of time and then fall back on my old ways. Slowly, but surely, I am changing. The journey is tough. It sure has its ups and downs, but with Christ I know I can create a healthier me.

Goal: Weigh 199 by February 29, 2016
- be at 150 or less pounds
- get healthy
- feel wonderful
- drink 8 glasses of water per day - I have done this!!!!
- fit into the many clothes I have in my closet
-Starting weight: 196 pounds on May 17, 2008 - BMI = 33.6, obesity
-Goal - 180 -June 21, 2008 - Got to 178 on Aug. 16, 2008
- Got to 174 on Sept. 20, 2008
- Back to 178 on
December 19, 2008
- May 29, 2009 - 181 pounds
- Goal: 178 by June 20, 2009 - Met goal!!!
- Goal: 170 by August 8, 2009 - Goal met Aug. 4, 2009
My Program:
I will workout 5-7 times a week.
I will drink as much water as I can.
Make healthy habits!
Motivation:
Do it for God!
Do it to get healthy and feel better!
Do it because it is the right thing to do!
Do it so I can fit into the many clothes in my closet that I have been saving for the time when I lose weight.
