Welcome to My Lifestyle Change. The purpose of this site is to be held accountable. I wanted a place that I could share my journey to a healthier life. If along the way I inspire others to join me on this journey, great!

In the summer of 2005 as you can see from the 3rd picture down on the left I was severly obese. At only 5'10" I was weighing in between 280 and 290 pounds. Well something happened that summer that has changed my life forever.

I was doing yard work, when suddenly Allie (my better half) tapped me on the shoulder, asking if I was alright. The scary thing is I didn't even remember sitting and after looking at my watch it was almost a half hour later then when I last looked at it.

I was sweating profusely, white as a ghost, having trouble breathing and didn't have the energy to even stand up. So Allie quickly started dousing me with water, until I was able to stand up and walk back into the house. I have to admit I was really scared. Not just scared for me, but for my family. I didn't like my kids seeing me like this and I was worried that I was going to leave them fatherless. Also after watching the most recent season of The Biggest Loser, I don't want them to end up like me.

Almost 4 summers later and I am proud to say I was doing yard work with ease, it even took way less time then I remembered. I guess losing around 30 pounds will do that for you.

But guess what? I still have another 50-60 pounds to go. Watch me shrink.....

Hi, STOOOOO. I notice that generally speaking, men don't participate much in co-ed P90X Sparkers, but men communicate plenty in 50+ Males. I started a team called P90X Men for men only, thinking guys doing P90X might exchange a lot more in a men's only group. I invite you to check it out, huddle with the team, and see if there are any threads there you'd like to join or if you'd like to start a thread of your own. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Stu... I joined a marathon that is on November 7th, 2010. I have been training daily for that. So, not really doing the P90X right now, but I have been working out daily for this marathon. I'm not the best runner, so I wanna make the entire thing running... I'm so stoked!!! =) Thanks for checkin in on me =)

Hello, I started P90X and made it through to day 47. Then I started training for my second half marathon which is the end of September. After the half marathon, I will go back to the p90X challenge.
My training plan has three running days and three cross training days. I'm using several of the P90X videos on my cross training days. I love, love the P90X videos.
