My name is Rhonda. I joined this site in July of 2008. I read most of the daily emails I received from Spark, but I didn't visit the site until recently. I liked what I saw. I have logged many, many hours on the site reading articles, your pages, and just absumbing as much motivation and inspiration as I can. It's all here and I love it.

It's now December 28th and I am just getting started. I am looking forward to traveling with you ladies on the road to a healthy and happy lifestyle,for life.

Sparkpeople seems like a great place to start my engine running.

FAST FORWARD TO FEBRUARY 21ST.

Yes, I fell off the wagon. I have started again. I feel stronger, more determined and ready to lose the weight. Sparkpeople is still a major source of motivation for me. As of today, April 3, 2011. I have lost 12lbs. When I think of it, it can't be hard to stick to it for 4 or 5 months. By then I would have reached my goal.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose weight and get healthy in 2009. My trouble spots are triceps, and of course the tummy area. I actually have to buy a larger size top to fit my large triceps.


My Program:
I like Leslie Sansone's Walk Aerobics DVDs. I'm just getting started now, but I have lost weight in the past by using walk aerobics and step aerobics.



Personal Information:
I am from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I work in the Information Tech world. Yes, I do a lot of sitting and looking at the PC screen, which of course causes a lot of settlement in the behind. :-)



Other Information:
My favorite things to do are RVing with family, SU tailgating, reading, anything to do with computers, and fishing.

    I had a BAD WEEK instead of losing the weight from the week before; I gained weight! Today I'm totally disgusted!.
    I've reached all my nutrients Yeah! But at what cosy Grrrr.
    Anyhow...I'm glad to be your friend..we'll see what happens on Thursday.

    my goal is to walk 10,000 steps per day, I do 34,00 so I have a ways to go...

    emoticon It's been a year since I last logged on to Sparkpeople. I forgot how much I love this site. I have noticed when I spot logging on to the site and getting my daily motivational dose, I start to slip and revert to my old ways, resulting in weight gain. So hear I go again, just were i was 16 months ago. This is a hard journey, but I am giving it another try.

    Woo Hoo - you live in Baton Rouge! :) I live in West Monroe. Thank you for stopping by my spark page & your encouraging words.

    It is plain hard work to lose weight & get fit but it is not impossible. I have come a LONG way since 2006 when I first started running & losing weight. Keep working at it & never give up!

    I ran my first marathon in New Orleans with some of my favorite spark friends - The roads are rough but it is nice & flat & of course, New Orleans is just plain fun. Perhaps one day you will run it too. :)
