Hello fellow sparkers!
Like most of us on here I have been fighting this battle for most of my life and thought it was conquered until a back injury and surgery sent me reeling back. I went on a diet and exercise plan last year and lost 22 pounds, but seem to be stuck in a plateau since the summer but then as everything in life that too is temporary and will change.I am very excited to have found this community and am looking forward to sharing with all of you.

My Goals:
Okay trying this again goal reset.

Today: 6/15/12- 155
Goal : 8/15/12- 135
my only other goal is to remain injury and illness free so I have no missed workouts.

My Program:
My current program of 1550 max calories a day I have carved in memory and will keep it unless it needs tweeking.
My exercise program cardio 5 days a week and strength training 3 days a week. I love the SP bootcamp workouts, Spartacus workout , P90X and Kettlebells that should be enough to keep me from getting bored or stuck in a routine. My favorite cardio is walking outdoors, I would love to run but end up on the injured list everytime I try, so I add short running intervals to my walks. Have my own weights, jump rope, bands, stability and Bender ball , manual treadmill and am buying a kettlebell very soon to have at home. Zumba is on the horizon as well. My favorite workout currently is a lady spatacus workout which includes kettlebells but I use a 10 lb dumbell to use check out Estela Hon KB Champion on Youtube.

Personal Information:
I am from Spring Hill Florida Sunny is my real nickname since grade school. I was raised in Chicago and have lived in Florida on and off for about 30 years. I lived at Minot AFB, North Dakota in the seventies. I am married have 2 children and four grandchildren 18,17, 9 and 1.
We have an Old English bulldog and four chatterdales who grace our home and bring us joy
(our babies).

    Thank you for the mat one of my downfalls in my weight loss program is lack of exercise just finding enthusiam to do it each day sometimes stresses me out with my new mat will really make an effort this week to stretch

    Hi there!! Sorry to be so silent lately. SP has been "eating" a little too much time so I have backed off a little bit. Sorry. I'm hoping to break out of this cycle of gain/lose this weekend. I have also been going through a round of depression due to not taking my meds to see if they were causing a weight problem. I don't think they are so back on the meds. Hubby is actually trying to lose the weight. He won't admit it but he is in the obese category. So I am very glad to hear that he is having some success. Indirectly, this might help me. I'm not that overweight, but I'm still not happy with the way I look in clothes (or out of for that matter emoticon

    Thank you for the relaxation music goodie! Unfortunately, my ipod stopped working right before my retreat, but I had the music of ocean waves, birds, wind in the trees....
