5% 2016 Winter Challenge: If I workout for 26 minutes a day (minimum)and eat between 1600 to 1950 calories, I will lose 12 pounds in 8 weeks!

MY FOCUS and COMMITMENT TO 2016:
-Follow a plant-stong, whole food eating style (Nutritarian)
-Participate in daily physical activity (2016 Winter 5% Challenge) & stretching
-Track my progress DAILY on SP
-CONSISTENCY is the word/goal for 2016. I want a 2016 to be a year of consistency and follow through! ;)

Winter 5% Challenge EXERCISE Commitment:
-Cardio: Walk w/ son (in stroller) 5x a week for 45 minutes
-Stretching: Yoga DVD 5x a week + warm-ups and cool-downs (I'm terrible about warm up stretches.)
-General: 1 intentional house/life/yard heart-pounding, sweat generating activity 3x a week

Winter 5% Challenge NUTRITION Commitment:
-PLAN: Dr. Fuhrman's Nutritarian Plan
-RECIPES: Using recipes from his 6 week meal plan and website
-SHOPPING: For groceries, I will shop 2x a week for produce. Dry ingredients and other necessities will be bought online.
-I've tried this before and had great success, while I stayed true. Here goes Round #2!

Jan 2- Apr 11 (my 100 day challenge)
*Will be following Dr. Fuhrman's 6 week plan
*I will walk everyday, weather permitting.
*I will stretch for 15 minutes a day.



Personal Information:
I am married and a mother to an active toddler. We have 3 wonderful cats. I love board games, card games, video games, books, movies, and music. I am a novice gardener and cook. I'm hoping to improve greatly on these two areas over the next year.


Other Information:
*I love Star Trek, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Ender's Game, Pitch Perfect 1 & 2, and How to Train Your Dragon series to name a few.
*And yes I am that person, who thinks most of the time the books are better than the movie.
