I know how you feel. It was so easy to put on weight in college even though I was working out. All of those late night pizza runs really add up. It will take time to lose, but there are a bunch of little steps that you can take that really add up. I'm not sure what your diet is like right now, but try to get in at least 5 fruits/veggies per day. More is always better, but don't overdo it on the fruit. Also, drinking 8-10 glasses of water is key. It really helps stave hunger. Many times you're not actually hungry, just dehydrated. I've also found that switching from 3 big meals a day to 5-6 smaller meals helps a ton. I never get hungry and I stay within my calorie limits. There are two ways to do this. Say you need to get 2000 calories a day to lose, you could do 5 meals of 400 calories each or 3 meals of 500 cals each and 2 snacks at 250. Let me know if you have any other questions. I'm here to help! It's so cool that you're going to Ireland. I've always wanted to go. I know you'll have a great time :-D 4619 days ago

I've lost 24 lbs in the two months that I've been on Spark by just doing the program--I've stayed in my calorie range every day and try to stay in the low range for carbs. I still get to eat pasta and cereal though!
I've also cut out all drinking :( But that's probably where I saved a lot of calories.
Good luck with your weight loss goals! 4620 days ago
