    Day 17.....written on 1/17/17

    This morning I got all but about 5 minutes of my exercises done before going to work. I'm optimistic I'll get it all in tomorrow.'

    I did a lot of house work stuff. I feel get about how active I'm staying.

    I slept well last night...about 7.5 hours.

    Tonight I'm going to bed about 9 hours before I have to get up. hopefully I'll have another good night sleep and get 8 hours in.

    Days 15 & 16.....written on 1/16/17

    Such a busy couple of days. Focused on exercising and preparing for the week. Feel like I should have gotten more done but I don't know how. I think I need to figure out how to be more focused and faster when I work out. Maybe it's because I'm building up strength and it's more strenuous that I think.

    I didn't do any work work which I guess is a good thing. I have to get used to not working extra and focus on me, getting healthy, and weight loss. NO GUILT!

    Also still haven't figured out how to fit in Meditation. I will in the future. Meditation is important.

    I have a good sense of what I need to do each day and know I can do it.

    Day 14 - 1/14/17.....written on 1/15/17

    Had a busy day with working out, housework, and shopping with Kelly. Didn't get my 30 minute walk in, but will make up for it tomorrow. It's the weekly average that counts, NOT the daily total. Key is: what caused you to not make it. Didn't feel like it is not acceptable. Spending active time with Kelly and extra housework is TOTALLY acceptable.

    I skipped Jackson's basketball to exercise. That is probably a bad thing. I hope I get energy so that I can do more. For now can I not feel guilty with the adage that somewhere along you have to put yourself first? Greg did go so I'm sure there was no impact on Jackson, but it may have hurt Amy's feelings. I want to do it all!!!

    Had pho at H-Pho as the Vietnamese nail guy said it was more authentic. The server said very little sugar. Had sprouts and cabbage. Gained half lb. No more pho in restaurants!!!! Will have fun making at home and will probably taste better. Somewhere WAY in the future try sprouts to see if they could be the culprit.

    I had a cavity filled on Friday (2 days ago) which probably mentally freaked me more than physically. I came home and laid down, but couldn't sleep. Also messed up my eating schedule. I have to figure out how to be more active Friday evenings and not let mental exhaustion set in!

    I have no regrets (except missing Jackson's game). This is the only way I know of to make important and necessary changes.

    Great evening out with my girls! Need to do it more often.

    We had pho at A Dong and at the MHM...gaines 2+ lbs and out of ketosis. The restaurants or pho? Need to try H pho in waulkee and see if the same. Definitely need to just make pho at home.

    Didn't get all of my 30 min of walking in or 10 min meditation, but worth it for the time with the girls. Will do extra walking today to make up for it.

    Even though weight gain I know I'm on the right track and just need to to continue to learn and adjust: Keep on Moving, Keep on Moving. How can it go wrong?

    I'm getting a filling today. Plan on going home and going straight to bed afterwards. Maybe it will be better than that, but I'm not going to worry.

    The lady on the Spark Coach today talked about flexibility in planning for meals. What can be in the pantry for a quick, healthy meal? I need to do a better job planning for that.

    Day 12 - 1/12/17.....written 1/12/17 am

    Last night after getting home from my 30 minute walk I did my meditation, Logged into Spark, and set TV on Law & Order for 30 minutes. I left the door open so the cats can come and go. Woke up at 4:00 am thinking I was late because of the bird alarm. Wow! Great night of sleep. Only 7 hrs 30 min, but it will be interesting to see if I really need 8 hours or if 7 hours plus is ok. That would be nice.

    I did my keytones check last night and it was moderate. I'm not having any other signs of ketosis other than weight loss (whoo hoo!).

    Lost .6 oz. I added spaghetti squash and butter (rather than ghee) to my diet the last two days so I was a little worried. Feeling a very short and little amount of heart burn so will need to continue to monitor. However, it did not make my weight fluctuate (whoo hoo!).

    Keep on trucking baby!
