I'm a 45 year old mother of two. I started gaining weight after my 1st child and couldn't seem to get it off. I'm still struggling, but I'm trying hard to focus on being healthy and developing better eating habits. Hopefully as a result, the weight will come off!


HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It has been a good year for me. But I'm looking forward to an even better year. I've continued to lose weight and stay with my exercise program. Amazing! I've never been able to stick with something like this before. It's not just a diet now, but a way of life! Sparkpeople has made this possible for me. I'm realizing how much better I feel now that I'm eating well. I have also realized that I don't lose weight as fast as I want to, but it took years to gain it, so I'm happy that it's only taking months to lose it. I'm looking forward to losing even more this year. Happy New Year and Hears to a Healthier way of life!

My Goals:
I'd like to lose weight, be healthier, and have more energy

Lose 10 pounds by 2/28/09

Walk at least three times a week.

10 minute weight training 5-7 times a week.


My Program:
I am on an anti-inflammatory program which cuts out foods know to cause inflammation of the joints. I seem to be responding to this diet and am beginning to lose weight.
