I need all the help I can get ..
I am a 63 year old widow with unstable "micro-vascular angina". This is almost constant chest pains in the small arteries of the heart .. the one's that the doctors cannot fix. Whenever my adrenaline increases; so does the pain. This makes exercise rather tricky but I still try. I have decided on a low carb lifestyle for myself .. no potatoes, no bread, no pasta, no rice and no sweets. I started this September 1 of 2018 and by Thanksgiving I had lost 32 lbs and felt great. I have decided on a low carb lifestyle for myself .. no potatoes, no bread, no pasta, no rice and no sweets. I started this September 1 of 2018 and by Thanksgiving I had lost 32 lbs and felt great. Then the holidays hit and with all of the wonderful neighbors that I have in my 55 + apartment building .. everyday someone was knocking on my door bringing me cookies or pies or cakes or something for the holidays. I didn't want to hurt their feelings and I have no willpower; so here it is April of 2019 and I gained it all back. I have re-committed myself to the low carb life and one week into it and 3 lbs down.
But I am also an over and compulsive eater so the weight came back. I keep knocking myself down but fortunately I keep getting back up. Joining a couple of new teams and re-committing ... AGAIN ... also going to start journaling and looking into a "face-to-face" O A meeting in my area.
