Here I go! I struggled with my weight ever since I moved out on my own back in 2001! Within 1.5 yr I went from 155lbs to 210. The heaviest I have been is 238lbs and that was back in 2008. I lost 48lbs by 2009 and have since put back on 22lbs for a current weight of 212lbs. The reason I gained it back- I stopped preparing my food and making a weekly meal plan and stopped exercising. Why did I do it?? Well, I am sure there are a million excuses I could give, but the main would because I was lazy. Why am I now deciding I need to make a change? I lack energy and I can see my seven year old pick up some of my bad habits - literally, he wants to snack all of the time, I tell him he only wants to snack because he is bored and tell him to drink water or go outside...and he says "why mom?, you do it?" - hmmmm he sure does have a point. I love food and I am an emotional eater! What made me decide to stop now? My son's 7th birthday request was for me to get healthy....and when I look at my 7 year old, I can see him gaining weight quickly and it scares me!! I have great support in the household, my son is amazing with keeping me on track and my husband does whatever he can to help. Now - it is my part I have to make a committment to be healthy. We also have a honeymoon late November and I would really like to wow my husband because of my new healthy approach with a new healthy looking body! No more excuses!! I am doing this for my family but I am above all doing it for me!!

My Goals:
The goal I have set for myself is a short term goal - once I attain that goal I am going to make a long term goal. Right now I would like to be 191 lbs by Nov. 15/2011.

My Program:
Eating proper portions, including daily excercise and no takeout!!

I am married to incredible guy and I have a seven year old son who is the light of my life!!
