I'm not where I want to be, but I'm not where I used to be either ! I lost 62 pounds, and as soon as I hit that all time low weight for me, I reverted back to my old habits and got careless. I've been yo -yo dieting with the same 15 years for about a year and a half ! Staying focused ,determined ,consistent with healthy eating is the most challenging for me. I still am a faithful exerciser, everyday but both exercising and healthy eating are a must to keep my health in check and to get rid of the rest of the extra weight than I certainly do not need or want !! I brought out my fat pants out, at my highest weight, it made me feel good to know that at one time in my life those size 20 jeans were skin tight on me ,so I am very thankful that I have worn size 12 jeans for quite awhile now, but the extra weight I've been fighting with , has shifted and my skinnier clothes just don't fit as well as they used to. I refuse to buy bigger clothes again because my mind is not set in the right direction ! I will get back in the game because I want to continue to stay on the healthy track in life ! Body , mind and soul are all affected by how we take care of ourselves , eating healthy , exercising and getting rid of extra weight is so important to living a healthy and happy life ! I am going to continue to choose the healthy way !! I've been fairly inactive on sparkpeople for awhile , but wanted to get back into using the tools on sparkpeople to spark my direction, attitude and health goals.

To take better care of myself .
Eat more healthy foods.
Be moderate with portions.
Exercise regularly .
Keep a journal of progress and struggles.
Be more balanced mentally and physically.
To be able to the unplanned eating challenges that arise without setting myself into a tailspin in a negative way.


My Program:
Eat more wholesome foods and less processed foods. Moderate & sensible portions.
A regular exercise routine.

I'm Tami. I've been married for almost 34 years.We have a grown son & I am a homemaker, My husband has been retired for 2 and a half years now. It's a pretty sweet gig. We live in Ohio.

I enjoy journaling , the art of hand writing , crafts, reading , bicycling , kettle bells ( 2 of my favorite exercises ), gardening, cooking & baking
