I am a freelance musician, piano and violin teacher, composer of various instrumental and orchestral music. I am also a keen story writer and poet.

I am currently undergoing an intended loss of 80kg (176lbs). So far I have combined counting calories and using the principles of the Paul McKenna weight loss system using self hypnosis where I feel it is needed.

So far it is working so I have come on here for some motivation and encouragement and to give the same to others in an effort to make the journey more pleasurable.

My Program:
I am largely calorie counting and making a note of everything I eat. I combine this with a lot of the principles of the Paul McKenna method of weight loss and combine this with my own ideas. I try to eat small and regularly too which seems to help.

My road to health is also a continuous learning curve where I maintain lots of information I gather in here. This place can really work if you want it to and the backing I have from my on-line friends is little short of priceless.

Personal Information:
I live in a small picturesque village with 400 other inhabitants here in North Devon, in the South West of the UK between Dartmoor and Exmoor. I teach Piano and violin and compose music when I am not performing sometimes with and sometimes without my eldest son who plays trumpet (Jazz and Latino)
Takes you onto his performance site. One of his performances I have as a vlog in here too.
My compositions number a couple of hundred consisting
of a large amount of educational piano pieces, Symphonic suites and concertos for Bassoon, Oboe, Flute & Marimba. There are over 50 pieces for brass band, songs and a full requiem mass.

I am also married and have been to the same person (Jane) for over 24 years have three children who are all following their own dreams and desires. Their images are all in here in among my pictures.

I can be contacted by my email which is:

Other Information:
I enjoy vegetarian cookery. I play snooker and am into landscape and surreal photography. Some of my work can be seen on my blogs entitled "Trev's Motivations" and "SPARKWORLD & some of my photography.

I am a very keen West Ham United football supporter and enjoy the French lifestyle and culture.

I also enjoy art and have studied the Mancunian Artist L.S. Lowry fairly extensively.

I am a very keen storywriter and have written a fair amount of poetry. As of present there are several hundred poems to my name and this number continues to grow on a monthly basis. Two of my poetic idols are Spike Milligan and Pam Ayres.

emoticon Smiling is infectious: you catch it like the flu, When someone smiled at me today, I started smiling too. emoticon I passed around the corner and someone saw my grin When he smiled I realized I'd passed it on to him. emoticon I thought about that smile and then I realized it's worth! emoticon A single smile, just like mine, could travel the 'round the earth. So if you feel a smile begin, don't leave it unprojected. Let's start and epidemic quick, and get the world infected! emoticon
Have a great week. Keep tracking, drinking your water and getting in some fitness minutes! emoticon

I know you probably don't celebrate Father's Day in England-at least not the same time as we do, but want to wish you a Happy Father's Day anyway as it would seem you have had a hand in raising great children and also I think it's wonderful that you mentor so many with your teaching!

Looking forward to having you back on the 20th (ish)

There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions.
    So what. Get started now.
With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.”
