Thanks for the goodie and for your comment on my page. Glad to hear your change of lifestyle has been successful. Formal jobs can cause so much grief - I hardly ever had one that didn't prove stressful and they were largely responsible for my bad eating habits and weight gain. Now you've shed the stress and are doing something with your husband that is more enjoyable you may find that your food problem is solved - at least in part. DO hope so.

XXX Thank you so much for your comment on my blog. I'm making a huge effort right now cos I'm sick of not getting anywhere. Remains to be seen how well it works.
Hope all is going well with you and your life change. Let me know when you can.

TRACI!!! Good to see you around here again - though sorry things are not going well. A new(ish) friend of mine here is adamant that none of us should strive for perfection - just for something better. That way we don't get so easily overwhelmed by the efforts we make. Just sayin' . . .
Glad your husband's heart is OK but know that limitations caused by problems with both lower and upper body joints do not make for good quality of life.
Hope you can both work towards a healthier and happier lifestyle - well, you'll see what I feel about that on your blog.
I don't have a leg to stand on - my yo-yo weightloss path has not really changed. But I am still trying and feeling better about things - at the moment at least. Hope you will be saying the same soon.
Wishing you both well emoticon emoticon

"The chance to overcome sugar addiction...I cannot pass this up"
    * OK, now we're talkin'. See, I'm a sly negotiator.

First off, how did your meeting go? Hope it went well.

Secondly. About three weeks ago, I started inserting foods into my diet based on the proposition that they fought something that caused sugar addiction.

My intake has plummeted from about 1500-1800 chocolate/snack calories per day to about 450-600 (and the last 150-200 are painful). I want to give it one more week to see how sustainable it is. From now until then, I'm going to try eating less of them and see if the cravings come back.

Even if they do come back, I plan to post a blog next Wednesday about the foods and what I'm doing.

In the meantime, I have requested that you respond to my most recent blog via its title (You will be the only one to have responded to both). If you wanna.

Hey there!! Good to hear from you.

"Good to know you are still fighting the fight as well!"
    * I'm not, I'm actually winning the fight at this point. I'm down to as little as an ounce of dark chocolate a day. My average intake is about 1/2 what it's been.

I am asking you, nay BEGGING you to come back and stay on. And have a list of reasons why:
    * I'm overcoming an actual sugar addiction
    * I'm going to go below 200 soon
    * I'm going to hit 195 soon
    * If what I'm trying works, I will be free from the addiction to sugar but be able to eat it in moderation.

Your support has meant so much to me and I want to share this victory with you.

I know that when I ask you to do all this for me that I'm being self centered, but when one is awesome like me it's just how one rolls.
