I've been a yo-yo dieter for as long as I can remember. I just could never "get it together" like everyone else seemed to do. Finally the up & down fluctuation just stopped in the "up" cycle... *naturally... & stayed that way for the last 16 years.

Health issues have made me realize that I need to do something... & I need to do it now... or there may not be a "later". I have to do it for myself & for my family.

I just heard about this site on the Ellen show. I checked it out... & it seems to be just what I needed. A God Breeze in my desert!

I look forward to utilizing the tools provided here... to forming a network of support, and finally to lead a healthier & more balanced lifestyle.

My Goals:
I'd like to improve my health & have more energy to accomplish all I have to do.

I'm trying to step outside of my comfort zone, & risk the unknown.

I'm looking for the Peace & Joy that comes from within, even during turmoil.

I would like to share hope with others who need it...
Because together we can accomplish anything!



My Program:
I'm tracking my food intake, water intake, & exercise output daily with this program.

I'm trying to eat foods that are fresh, natural, & organic. I'm trying to get more of my daily protien intake from non-animal sources.

I'm preparing most of my meals so I can control the amount of fat & sugar are in it.

I'm drinking more water.

I'm moving everyday... doing something toward my goal of being stronger & healthier. Combining stretching, strengthening, & aerobic movements.

I park further away from the stores & take stairs when I can, so I can meet my exercise goals.

I'm trying to find other ways to deal with dissappointment & stress besides turning to food.
