I’m 60 years old today. I’m not where I want to be yet but I’m a whole lot farther than I was when I started this journey. I’m thankful for the support and encouragement from my SparkPeople friends and from my family. Slowly but surely I will make it to my goal! 😃

    Beth, I am working with a Ft Myers doctor & the University of Florida Health. They sent me a pattern for a Harland H600 medical fabric mask that has passed the respirator fit test. They will sterilize the masks before using. I made a prototype one yesterday & it came out perfectly! I am so happy to be able to help! I already sent a bunch of cloth masks to my daughter in Vegas. The doctor is permitting me to send some of the medical grade ones to my daughter...that’s how I got involved, to start with. I am wanting to protect her & help her. Stay safe & be well!

    emoticon I hurt my knee when my hubby and I walk on our stepping stones in the morning. Just missed a step and fell on the concrete walkway. It is all better now!! thanks for asking! Hugs, Janice

    Naples has a serenity mile near my home. It is through a wooded area with a dirt path. Mind you, not what I will experience at the GC, but gets me in the walking mode. Not more than an hour away, there are hiking paths of various lengths for me to use as the time gets nearer to my GC adventure! I am doing the circuit training class at the gym & using the stairmaster to simulate the upward movement of climbing. I am a work in progress! That’s for sure! Lol
