Hi! I am Beth, looking forward to manage my weight and pre-diabetes through diet and excercise! Hope to make friends and share triumphs. I am setting my first goal to coincide with my physical. After that I intend to work in 10% increments.

The most I ever weighed was 287. I lost 67 lbs on Weight Watchers. Eventually, I changed jobs and left the group I was in and lost my motivation and gained all but 23 lbs back. When I hit 264 and went to the doctor with signs of pre-diabetes, I decided to give it a go again. I am not going to the meetings but I am basically following a lower carb version of the points system with my tracking on SP.

Fitness Minutes: 85

My Goals:
My goal is to get under 200 lbs by the end of 2008. I would like to be 170. I know I can get to one 7 oh. it would feel so good to be there! I haven't been there since my 20's.

My Program:
Weight Watchers
First I believe I can do it.
2nd I will rejoin WW.
3rd I will attend weekly meeting.
4th stay on program daily.
5th track daily
6th walk 5-6 days per week no time limit to start with just a walk every day.

Personal Information:
I am 51, living in So. Cal. I really enjoy walking for excercise but when I can afford it I love lifting weights and having a trainer.

Favorite books: Sayonara, Harry Potter series-LoVeD IT! Secret Garden, Suds In Your Eye,Shangri-La

Favorite Movie: French Kiss-yes darn it I liked Meg Ryan when she was perky. She kind of looks weird now!
