BACK to sparking with a few new motivations!! SO this time there is going to be no turning back...

All my life I have struggled with my weight... Always the chubby girl in school. I met my husband while in high school and became pregnant at 18. WE married later that year and together started eating in an unhealthy way... My DD was born and I started to gain weight... Not while pregnant but AFTER she arrived... It was not something I was proud of... I remember one day my husband said his mom asked if we were having another baby because of it... I had become a stay at home mom and I never went anywhere... hung out with my gorgeous baby all day and my energy levels dropped... I found myself to be 272 pounds a few years after she was born! I lost about 35 pounds and was proud of myself... BUT I stopped... THEN slowly over time 2 more babies and 8 total years of being a stay at home mom... and i reached a dreadful mark... I tipped 300 on the scale... I topped off to date at 308! I never plan to see 300 on the scale again... I started phentermine a few years ago thinking that it could be a tool to aid in my weight loss; however, it was not good for my body and raised my blood pressure to a point that I had to stop taking it... I gained back the 15 pounds I had lost while on the medication! Last year, I wasnt really TRYING to lose weight, but I found that my pants were getting looser... I was able to get down to 272 and I was totally excited! HOWEVER, I have gained part of that back AGAIN as most people do with a weight problem... SO today, getting ready to start a weight loss journey, I weigh 284... :( BUT its time for a change... I have some goals and new motivations... AND this time... I WILL LOSE THE WEIGHT!!

    WOOHOOOOO on the LARGE shirt... i did update my status yesterday AND THE DAMN scale is currently stuck... hasnt moved in the last few days but its soooooo close to sending you that pic... sooooooo close... but its just being stubborn... i have been a good girl... im thinking though that its possibly i had a little more sodium than i expect over the weekend... i always seem to stick to my weight on weekends and see movement on Tuesday/Thursday.... SOOOOO I am impatiently hoping that happens tomorrow... yes I am happier with that number i have on the scale right now... but its past its prime and should be making an exit soon... AND i am still shocked that I walked OVER 10 miles intentionally this weekend... not a lot of jogging but threw a little in... SO YAY me... if nothing else maybe i have had a little muscle building?!?! so anyhow.. I really need to blog but i can't get motivated yet!! lol

    Well good! You know I have to check on you though emoticon

    I have GAINED!!! How have I done that!?!?! I started my strength training this week though, so I am going to assume that is where it came from. It may be necessary, but I don't have to like it!!! emoticon

    Nathan told me I looked smaller today... and he is right! I am wearing a shirt that I have not been able to wear without an undershirt in a long time. It didn't cover enough of me before, but now it fits just right... You know what size it is? Large emoticon I have been in an extra large for a very long time... and some times those didn't fit either unless I wore an under shirt, so a large is amazing!

    Anyhow, update your status and send me my scale picture woman! lol. I'm excited for you!
