I am excited to re-new my participation in SparkPeople! I joined a while ago and made great progress. However, I got complacent, life intervened and my health deteriorated. So now I am starting again.
My main goal is still to be healthy and strong as I age. Part of that means being at a healthy weight and feeling good- both physically and mentally. I have had some challenges with my health over the last year, and managed to gain 10 lbs. I am happy to say that I think my health ...
I am excited to re-new my participation in SparkPeople! I joined a while ago and made great progress. However, I got complacent, life intervened and my health deteriorated. So now I am starting again.
My main goal is still to be healthy and strong as I age. Part of that means being at a healthy weight and feeling good- both physically and mentally. I have had some challenges with my health over the last year, and managed to gain 10 lbs. I am happy to say that I think my health care professionals and I now have a handle on what my issues are, and I am taking positive steps to regain my healthy self.
So, here's to a healthy 2013 and beyond

My "real" long term goal is to be healthy and strong as I age, so that means taking care of myself NOW.
My long term weight loss goal is to drop 15 pounds over the next 6 months
My Program:
I am following the Sparkdiet parameters for nutrition, am strength training 3x/week and doing cardio 5x/week.
