Loving myself into the physically healthy place I am meant to be - moment by moment, choice by choice - guided by a commitment to Truth and the knowledge that I can do all things through Him who gives me strength. The choice is now.

Fitness Minutes: 2,188

My Goals:
I'm looking forward to weighing 80-90 pounds less over the course of about the next year. I would like this to be a journey inward, not outward. I'd like to be stronger, more engaged, more of who I know I was meant to be. I'd like to grow in faith, and in my ability to surrender.

My Program:
Monitoring hunger levels using a 0-10 approach modified from the Thin Within series, while still eating roughly 1500 calories a day. Allowing myself to be imperfect. Working out 5-6 days a week, 40-60 minutes, using combos of various exercise DVDs (both cardio and weights), my elliptical, and walking.

Personal Information:
I am a married, full-time working mom of two wonderful boys, ages 12 and 10, and step mom to two great men whom I have known since they were 4 and 11 (now in their 20's and 30's), and step grandma too!

I'll turn 51 this year. It's time. Fitting in this journey home to myself HAS to be a conscious choice because life is BUSY.

Other Information:
Anything creative is right up my alley - art, music, writing, poetry . . . both creating and consuming!
Over the past year I have been reading and re-reading Ann Voskamp's book, "One Thousand Gifts," and allowing her wise words to really speak into my soul.
I am in love with God, the first and best Creator.
