I am back from Tulsa. IT was a wonderful opportunity and I learned so much. I took your beautiful card with me and showed it to people and explained where we met. I tried to encourage them to look the site up and learn more once they were home. I thank you much for your friendship and encouragement. I am sorry I am tardy telling you this. I moved right after I got home, was sick with colds and really that's not good enough. It is hard to do anything when you haven't a clue as to how to begin. Anyway a belated thank-you, the card was/is beautiful and I will always cherish it. 2938 days ago
Happy Good morning, We sound very much alike! I have seen the circut machine advertised and thought it was a neat tool. Thank your so much for responding to my outcry the other night. It was so great to see that message and read your encouragement and a promise of a card! I tried to leave a thankyou emticon but can't I made an adjustment.......long story. Guess it's working now??? (computers are strange little things to me. wonderful but strange) Your dresses are beautiful. I have been to a couple of enactments with my son when he was young. One in MO where a battle actually happened. There is the cannonball house (a national landmark). The importance of this one was the MO was a divided state and this battle kept the south from coming any more north into MO. It is known as the battle of Athens. The other one, many more people come but it is a "replica". It is in Keokuk IA. Keokuk was known for their med school so that was a place to bring the wounded from the south for the Union. The came by boat on the Mississippi river. Keokuk even has a National cemetery because of the Civil war. I know little history, it wasn't my favorite subject. The best way to learn is to go where it happened if one has the opportunity . Got to go and get the day stated. (((((hugs))))))))))))teresa
