I used to be a cute little thin girl, then I got really sick, & that required heavy use of steriods at a young age that made me balloon up. Kids made fun of me. My self esteem suffered and so did my body! I never returned to that cute little skinny girl, but i did not loose my beautiful smile or sense of humor even though i was hurting inside. I was always a plump size but not to big starting as a size 14 in high school & before kids as long i stayed pregnant i would have been fine & not gained weight but as soon as the pregnancy ended boy oh boy weight found me! If i only would have known i would have been like the Duggars pregnant every couple years. LOL.... Well in 2010 i recieved very shocking news that at the age of 38 i was pregnant with twins & very OBESE! Well shocked to say the least. Day of delivery i weighted 357 pounds. From that day forward i knew that if i did not do something about my weight i knew those kids were going to grow up without a mother! I sat down & did some simple math calculations, me being (AS THE DOCTORS CALL IT) Advanced Maternal Age (38 mom + 20 years= 58 ) (so maybe 20 years if i'm lucky, You What I Mean Fern?) So that really drove the nail through the heart! So here I am today working muscles & booging it up to the sound of Zumba at our local YMCA. Striving to get healthier, toner & hoping not to kill anyone by my flying apron if you know what i mean. LOL (I'm just the comedian today)

Fitness Minutes: 7,073

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 20 pounds for the month of December & for the month of January. I want to be under 300 pounds for my trip to California for my cousins babyshower! I have achieved Decembers goal. I have not been under 300 pounds since prior to 2001!


My Program:
Smaller dinner plates, 3 small meals, 1 snack water,, crystal light drinks, coffee or milk only. More fruits & veggies. 5-8 glasses of water. No fast food. We eat at if luckly 1 day a week & I eat at nice restraunt the way i want my meal off weight watchers menu! I splurg 1 time a week on dessert but a small piece of it only. I just recently joined YMCA gym so now pounds so really come off & toning will be more noticable. 1/2 hour Zumba & 1/2 Cardio 45 mins weight training, 90 mins swimming Monday & Wednseday, Friday 30 mins Cardio 45 mins weight training 90 mins swimming then Saturday or Sunday I go again & just have fun swimming with kiddos. Not to mention all week long i have babies to run after, lots of laundry, housekeeping, volenteer work ect ect. YOU WOULD LIKE I WOULD BE A SKINNY MINNIE! WELL I'M GETTING THERE!

People come in many shapes, colors & sizes but we are all the same in some way or the other.

I may be a Chunky Monkey but i still feel beautiful and happy about who i am & what I have. The key word is happiness.
