62ANDWINNING
Welcome back...there is a chance we met back in 2008. Or when I came back a couple of years later. Here we are now, though. It is our year! Success is just getting up one time more than we fall.
I am a former nurse/former teacher/ former business owner/ former politician/current Project Manager for Prostate Health. I have tried to retire several times, but God keeps laughing at my plans!
My late husband was a Type 1 diabetic who had a life-changing pancreas transplant in 2000. It was miraculous. Then he ended up being a victim of malpractice in 2001 and acquired sepsis which killed him over 26 months.
My current hubby is a type 2 diabetic. Totally different disease!
Don't know why I went into all of that except to say, through all the challenges, only one thing remains constant; the only control we have is that over our own bodies. What we put into it and how we move it is up to us. 2933 days ago
