September 17, 2019 Life continues to move forward. I have 5 children, 8, 7, 5, 4 and 9 weeks. I walked 25 miles last week and the scale didn't move so this week I am tracking everything that I put in my face. I'm still walking 5 miles a day. I'm hoping the scale will start to move as I become more aware of what I'm eating. Though I do have to say my diet up to now isn't terrible. I'm still eating fruits and vegetables and meats. I've been dairy free and grain free for a week. Life has been busy. I have 4 kids, Rebecca, Kaylin, Alexander and Jackson. As of May 2016 they are 5, 3, 2 and 11months old. I've been busy painting my entire house. My husband and I bought a house in October2014. The previous owners of our house didn't paint the walls or do much of anything to it; so now I've been busy painting. I've also been busy gardening. I have several generously sizedgarden plots. The contents are: rhubarb, annual flowers, hot peppers and raspberries, pea pods green beans swiss chard radisshio and romain lettuces, blueberry bushes squash and pumpkin, strawberry gogi berries and asparagus. Several herb gardens along one side of the house, perennial flower garden x6 and 3Apple trees, 2 peach trees and 2 cherry trees. It's hard to believe Alexander is already 2 months old! time sure does fly when you're distracted. Life is going well. My husband and I are looking to purchase a house! Kaylin finally has 12 teeth (4 top front, 4 bottom front and the first molar in all four quadrats of the mouth). She is also finally walking between furniture. It won't be long and she'll be walking all over. Rebecca just had her 3rd birthday. Her party was small (most of the guests were sick so they stayed home) but lots of fun. I made homemade pizza, homemade ice cream and cake. Life has been busy. The girls are doing well. Kaylin's first birthday went well (this past August). Rebecca is fighting naps though the rest of the "terrible 2's" are winding down. She turns 3 this December. Baby #3 is doing well. We are expecting baby #3 to arrive mid October. I'm doing well. I've been busy knitting hats, socks, sweaters and blankets for everyone in the family. No it's not nesting, it's trying to keep me from doing too much, help pass the time and to get some knitting done before life becomes much more busy and crazy for a while. Life is good! Kaylin is 5 months and still happy with enzymes before every nursing session. Breastfeeding has improved. For a while I was thinking I would have to switch to formula but since Kaylin is happy and nursing is enjoyable again the supply has increased! Rebecca loves to climb on everything! I'm doing the "Biggest Loser" Challenge in my spark team Parents of Infants (up to age 2). So far I've lost 5lbs and I've become much stronger. I still need to make my core stronger because my back still hurts (though not as much as it used to) but soon my abs will be strong enough to adequately support my back and my back will "get a break" and will stop hurting. We figured out Kaylin's cause of her colic is lactose intolerance. She is so happy now. Her sister Rebecca is also much happier. She no longer holds her hands over her ears :) The girls' check-ups went well both are growing like weeds. Kaylin is almost 4 months old and we figured out she has colic. Her behavior now seems more manageable since we have a name for it. We are hoping she out grows it soon so our evenings from 4:30 ish to 10:30 ish can start to be a bit quieter! Other than that nothing else is really new. Thanksgiving was enjoyable despite everyone having the flu. Christmas is going to be enjoyable as well. I can't wait to see Rebecca's face light up when she sees her counting Cookie Monster! Time sure is flying! Kaylin is 3 months old already. She is growing like a weed, which is a good thing :) Yesterday I figured out what my body needs to make lots of milk: hot chocolate. I don't know what is in hot chocolate that is helping my body to make more milk but it's working. I'm finally not nursing every 1-1 1/2 hours around the clock! Kaylin is 8 1/2 weeks old. Everyone is doing well. Her older sister Rebecca has adjusted well and has figured out taking Kaylin's nook makes her cry which is loud. Rebecca doesn't like loud and mom is very happy Rebecca has finally stopped taking things from Kaylin :) I've started to get back into watching what I eat and making mental notes about how different foods make me feel, which foods keep me fuller longer and which foods I end up craving. I'm nursing so I have a few cravings here and there. Strange since I didn't have any cravings while I was pregnant this time around. I love to knit and crochet and thought you'd at least like the bright colors on your page :) For me needle work is a constant reminder that "slow and steady wins the race." If I try to rush then mistakes happen and I have to start over again. The same is true with diet and exercise. I keep telling myself "you have done an amazing job and look great!"

Hi. If you want/need a little push...consider joining us for an 5 week challenge.

Why not join the X-WEIGHTED CHALLENGE? We're all ages, all fitness levels, all striving to live a healthier life. There is always something to learn from each other. These teams are also a great source of motivation! We can become healthier by working together and making new friends as we go. We compete in weekly nutrition and fitness challenges. It is similar to the Biggest Loser team and will last 5 weeks this round. There are 3 teams that compete within the X-Weighted team. We do ATC (All Teams Challenge) various challenges (nutrition, fitness etc.) The main requirement is to post your weight weekly. The ATC challenges and/if individual teams have challenges are optional (however, very beneficial). If you have any questions, please let me know.
