Ty for the friending. I read you hungry blog and gave you my two cents worth. I also got to thinking about solutions. What about friends? Any chance you can hang out at a friends house around meal time so you at least get one good meal a day? What about your mom's house? Same thing. Moving out on your own means a great deal of sacrifice and hard work. Hang in there and good luck with your job search!

Thanks for the add. and Welcome to a New Start! It is easier when you live alone to make sure things are prepared correctly (my uncle still insists on cooking like my grandma did.............fried, creams, and sauces just to begin with) BUT I still am managing to lose by recording EVERYTHING! if I don't record, :( I don't lose @ all, and even gain.
Good Luck and hopefully we can help each other out!

emoticon for stopping by my page! I actually do not feel like I lost 80# even through I know I have, lol. My advice would be...

    1. Focus on one pound at a time. Before you know it, you will have lost ten or twenty.. or in my case, 80.
    2. Find exercise you love! You are not going to love all kinds of exercise but I would bet you my bottom dollar that there is ONE exercise you do like. Exhaust it. Than, find another! Repeat, rinse, repeat!
    3. Track everything. Remember, you are not going to have a perfect day everyday.
    4. Blog, blog, blog! I blog nearly everyday! It is a great way to get people's support when you are feeling alone in this or when you want to celebrate reaching a goal!
    5. Get involved with an ACTIVE team and participate in the message boards! You will find all kinds of great support there!
    6. Drink your water! If you cannot do anything else that day, drink your water. You might be surprised with how much it can help you keep on track.
    7. Lastly, this can be all very overwhelming... take SP one step at a time. Start with tracking food and exercise, than get involved on the boards, than start reading all the articles (and there are TONS)!

Let me know if you have any questions or just need an ear to listen to! I am guessing I have been there!

    Good luck! emoticon
