I took the initiative and added you as my first spark page friend. You know, it feels really good too.
I am looking forward to many encouraging chats.

I was so excited to see another marathon writer. I noticed most of the time the women answer in short replies where I tend to go on and probably way too much information. My fingers hit the keyboard and they just fly.
When I saw your pictures and the one of your son on the blew me away. My son Bryan also loves the drums. He is getting ready to leave for a tour overseas with Hanson, a singing group. He does the sound.
I read your "history" and thought, wow, this is me. I have done WW, Tops, Curves and so many diets. The one time I really did well was on my own when I was trying to motivate one of my girls. I believe with all my heart the walking was the biggest difference and lifting weights. I just loved that.
I was doing great but my Daddy got cancer six years ago and when he died five years ago...something in me went with him. I just can't seem to get motivated and stay that way. I joined Curves and I do love it..but it is not always convenient. I make plans to do my on line things but something comes up and the next thing I know, its bedtime and the whole day is gone...and I have done nothing. I do clean houses so I get some exercise but not what I really need to see improvements.
I have a great day on my new healthy eating...but then allow little things to interfere. I just can't seem to get back on track.
I loved reading your posts and admire you for finding something that works and sticking to it.
I am proud of you...and I mean it. I hurt for heavy people...and find myself always silently praying for them. I want every overweight person to get motivated and lose. I know in my heart how much happier they will be and better than will feel.
When i see the weight charts on here and see where someone has lots of weight to lose, I lay my hand on their names and pray for speedy progress.
It hurts to be overweight...I don't want a single person to feel that hurt for long.
Good luck to you...and I'm glad you took the time to look at my page.

Hi, Audrey, saw your post in "What have you done today to make you feel proud?" about calling your dad, checked your Page, and decided to say hello and all the best. Looks as if you and Lesley and others in your family (?) have a cool challenge going. Good luck.
