back on Spark after a 5-year hiatus currently living outside of my natural habitat, with no snow-covered mountains, blue lakes, trails through the forest, bike paths, or fresh air trying to find fun ways to move my body more in a chaotic, dust-filled city that will soon be too hot for long walks [update August 2019: it is officially too hot even for short walks.. and I am missing shady forest access like crazy] and trying to find foods that make my body happy

Hi. If you want/need a little push...consider joining us for an 9 week challenge.

Why not join the X-WEIGHTED CHALLENGE? We're all ages, all fitness levels, all striving to live a healthier life. There is always something to learn from each other. These teams are also a great source of motivation! We can become healthier by working together and making new friends as we go. We compete in weekly nutrition and fitness challenges. It is similar to the Biggest Loser team. There are 3 teams that compete within the X-Weighted team. We do ATC (All Teams Challenge) various challenges (nutrition, fitness etc.) The main requirement is to post your weight weekly. The ATC challenges and/if individual teams have challenges are optional (however, very beneficial). If you have any questions, please let me know.

If you want something out of life you have to go out there and get it, because it is not just going to be given to you. No one is going to climb the stairs for you, you must start one stair at a time. None of us are entitled, we all must work for what we want in life.

In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you. – Buddha

The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little. helping others.
