The SUIT. Read all about it in my blog. Quite a story.
I can't figure out how to rotate the picture here (I managed it on my blog), but I just had to share. It was a 5K color run and it was FUN!
Breakfast in two minutes. I have used that poacher for years. The eggs steam in the microwave for about a minute. Leftover green onions and tomatoes make it pretty. Yum!
Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K -- personal best finish at just under 44 minutes.
Personal best 5k -- just under 44 minutes on Thanksgiving Day 2018.
Often, when I go to the market, I decide to buy myself a treat or a snack. This time, I chose these for my treat. I will enjoy it a lot longer than my usual treats.

At the farm, collecting strawberries.
Yesterday, I volunteered with the trail crew working to get the state park by me open after the wildfires. I volunteered Wednesday, too. My Fitbit says I burned nearly 4K calories each day. I am bruised, I am sore, and I am COMPLETELY ELATED to have been in my trees again. You can see the burn scars in the photo, but oh, wow, is it still beautiful.
New before photo. June 2016
Fellow members of the tribe, this one's delicious! I like it year round, but it really goes well with matzah. Here's the recipe:

I used this in a recent blog and thought I'd like to have it in my photo gallery. June, 2013.
You just KNOW you want to make some penguins the next time you have guests over, right? 16 calories each. https://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-det

Bibimbap it's what's for dinner! (Basmati brown rice, asparagus, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, carrot, zucchini, and a dollop of gochujang sauce.) 483 calories and loads of fiber and nutrition. YUM!
This is my 'Woo Hoo' jar. I belong to the "Woo Hoo Jar lounge" and we put notes with our woo hoos in to remind us of the progress we've made towards our goals. I like that mine is a repurposed biscuit barrel/cookie jar. I just re-read the woo-hoos in it and they include wonderful memories over several years. Today I put in that I'm 50 pounds (3 st.8) down again!
This is my 'Woo Hoo!" jar.
The wear bars show I've been tightening my belt. I'm on the smallest one now and it's a little loose. Time for a new belt! #NSV
Breakfast -- 205 calories including coffee w/creamer and stevia. Air fried asparagus (Ohhhhhh, soooo good), scrambled egg beaters with onion, spinach and cherry tomatoes. There's a touch of garlic powder and fresh rosemary because I can't keep from puttering with my food. I made it in an iron pan with no added oil, so the combo of the tomatoes and spinach makes it a good source of iron, too. That air fryer has seen a lot of use lately. It's asparagus season!
Another character for me.
My daughter and husband at her graduation fiesta
A great photo of my son at my nephew's wedding.
Another of my alter egos -- Susan B. Anthony
Casey, the Greek goddess 10/2012
26 September, 2012. 185 pounds
Finishing my first 5K, June 23, 2012
Before photo -- spring 2011. Approximately 245 pounds.
205 lbs on 14 April 12. The shirt says, "50 isn't old if you're a tree".
9 June. 195 lbs. Not a big difference from 205.
2002, Kabul Afghanistan. The shipping container where I lived. I can't recall how much I weighed.
The waddling will stop!
I hate this picture. Not that it doesn't tell the truth. . .
The only way for me to have cleavage is on my side. No make up. From 2011.
One of my many alter egos. February 2012, 229 lbs. 20 lbs down.
5 March 2012. 216 lbs. April 2018, I am in the same neighbourhood.
