I love this! Saw this on the wall at the Spouts location near my new job. Spent some relaxing summer vacations in Cedaredge, CO with my daughter when she was little, visiting her dads grandma and grandpa.
New favorite snack! So good for you and no added sugar. Just coconut. Part of my new eating standards.
Seeing all these awesome looking lunches reminded me it was time to eat! Trader Joe's Creamline full fat plain yougurt, a nectarine and topped with a little raw sliced almonds and unsweetened flaked coconut!

Managed to walk a 5k in my sandals yesterday because an impromptu day drive turned into exploring a riparian preserve. In 100+ heat. Smh. Need to plan to always wear walking shoes on any aimless day drive adventures.

Love this new lip balm. Met a new friend recently who has got me started using lip balm. Avalon Organics Soothing Vanilla Rosemary. Makes my lips smooth and sweet, not greasy or pasty. I’m really picky about how lip stuff or moisturizer or just about anything feels on my skin. This is a winner.
My boyfriend did corned beef and cabbage in the crockpot today to take to his class potluck. And left me some! Yum 😋 What a sweet surprise to come home to dinner!

Holy cow I get a lot in, Best day in weeks. I wanted to try to do a kettlebell workout tonight after work but I’m fatigued. I got up a really early (for me) and it’s been a long day. Made a healthy dinner, pork teriyaki stir fry. Now just feel tired, watched my shows on Hulu, I think it’s shower and bed. Maybe kettlebell in the morning! Or at least after work.

I was also considering MOONPIE that my boyfriend left a box of at my house (unopened thank god) at 20g carb and 110 cal. All things considered if I’m gonna eat a treat this is probably better.
Realized I was actually hungry, had my leftover taziki and baby carrots 🥕 instead. I’ll keep the bar around for later if I feel like it, or a backup. Shout out to my homegirl!

This is me enjoying myself on a lovely date out after a lovely day at the river, walking and playing in the water. I’ve worked hard all week, and yeah it’s a fry bomb, but I’m not going to deny myself the things I love in life. Today is a better day. Went hiking with my daughter. Fitbit said equivalent 44 flights of stairs!😱 It was lovely out. 70s. One of the last nice days of Spring before the 100s hit. That’s life in the desert 🌵 Still feeling the sting of disappointment over the work thing, add to it our play partners canceled for tonight. Was really looking forward to a fun night. We can only meet up every other weekend. Anyway, I’ll post something else positive later also. I’ll fake it til I make it I guess!

Well it was a hard week with a lot of emotional upheaval. This week is starting off to be even more so. I just don’t know anymore. My stress level is through the roof, and this week involves traveling for work, which I never do. Team retreat, two days out of state, everyone else is salary on my team, I’m the only hourly, I wonder how that’s going to work 😖
So I went a little binge on the teas they were on sale $3 a piece how could I say know. Yogi tea is quality. Flavored iced tea, with a splash of cream and some stevia is my FAVORITE summertime drink. I just brew a big mug, forget about it (I mean uh, wait for it to cool off) and pour over ice. Delish!
Got this the other day while I was on my work retreat. Climbed ALOT of stairs in 2 days. My favorite part of the trip was where we stayed. Lovely mansion ‘cabin’ in Idaho on Bear Lake. Beautiful.

Last weeks stats. Not bad considering. Didn’t have the umpf to make it happen today. Just doing the best I can to be in a better head space today. Reflecting a lot and questioning my motives. I know I’ve been in a lot of self lately, and I see how it’s affecting my relationship. I strive to be better. Get to reunite with my honey tomorrow and show him how much I care!
