I cut up a pineapple and decided to root the top in water to make a pretty tropical plant for our deck!! Saw my first hummingbird of the season today! Dinner time! In my effort to not stress eat today I ate too little! Never thought that would be possible...anyway...my evening snack is a serving of oatmeal, one teaspoon sugar and a teaspoon of coconut oil. It is just under 200 calories if I am remembering correctly from tracking it...is still looking at her log from doing the South Beach diet a few years ago...Not sure why I keep looking at it...is going through papers! Homemade soy and ginger Stir fry veggies and egg :-) Makes for a pretty picture!is learning to post her fitbit stats :-)had a good start to the day. Water, whey and my supplements :-) Over the course of the day I did better than I have in the past most days! Moving forward to better health :-)is My day....I got my 10,000 steps and drank 17, 8oz glasses of water today. My calories were a little higher than usual at 1,500 but I pushed forward with my calf injury to slowly get my active minutes and steps so I am happy :-)No weight loss this week. Did better with calories eaten...cant really eat any less on most days.Busy day. Sore foot still from walking funny with calf injury. Calf feels great. Back to work in the morning. Prepped all my lunches for the week and even entered Wednesdays food through afternoon :-)Was active all day at work and at home. Drank my water and tracked my 1200 calories. Yay..proud. I was tempted to stray today at work...donuts, snack mix and chocolate were present on the lunch table...I did not consume a bit of it :-)Made "Three Minute Flourless Chocolate Cake" in the microwave. Its actually really good. Picture does not do it justice. Its a south beach recipe and uses splenda, milk, egg, cocoa powder and smart balance margarine. It makes one individual "cake". 192 calories. Usually I top with one teaspon or tablespoon of frozen cool whip but I don't have any today! Hit my chocolate fix!!!I lost two pounds this week. This means I have lost half of the weight that I gained quitting smoking and I am still quit :-) Slow progress but I am doing it all!!!Busy day today! The weather is going to improve! My plants can go outside in the morning...my deck will take on its tropical feel...I lost two pounds and feel on top of the world after not losing! YayDid well with my Fitbit today :-)Blake says..."You got this, Mom!".It is easy to miss the little things that can make you smile and get rid of the days tension...this is a bloom from one of my hibiscus trees. They only seem to last one day...it would have been a shame to miss this one!Todays blooms!Treated myself to a new hibiscus tree...its blooms from today!Friday and Sunday are the hardest days for me to eat healthy because of my work schedule. I will too.i would need to be under 140 pounds to be considered healthy.......hmmmm...Not a good calorie day.Tracked...i am so active at work...although i have burned more than i ate it wont create weight loss...but its better than not watching at all!I weigh in Monday mornings. Last week i did not lose anything...looking at this graph...not sure what to expect in the morning but i do know tracking helps me make better choices!is excited to see what the new roof will look like. Dentist, checkbook, bills and driving between errands. Feeling good about crossing things off my to do list though! Last two nights I went back to oatmeal before bed. Seeing if that helps. I have made a lot of positive changes. But no loss yet.Really enjoyed this video today! I did it twice. It raised my spirits. Almost feel like I am fighting off a cold...hubby is sick. Fingers crossed I don’t get it. I have a medical test on Tuesday!Beat my stress level down with workouts. Watched my calories. Wish it was showing on the scale but will take feeling better for now!Made my goals today. Had a variety dinner. Low carb except the carrots! Treated myself to a glass of dry red wine. Also low carb. Good morning sparklers!Back from vacation. Had a great cruise with hubby. We both avoided carbs at meals on ship and used the elevator only twice! It was a fun and healthy time.Slept in. Late breakfast. Making my to do list...my workout will again be first on my list. That has not been the case the last couple weeks. I felt better and had more energy when I worked out first...here I go!Turkey chili with Greek yogurt and a salad. It’s homemade and what is for dinner!
