Finished my second 7-day challenge of drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day.
What's for supper? "Somethin' different," as my sweet mother-in-law used to say. 1 cup peas, mini-peppers (I cut mine small), tomato (diced), & 2 Tbs (adjust to your liking) Miracle Whip Light. Yummy & not too calorific :-)
A friend told me some time ago the wonderful benefits of Greek yogurt. Tried it. Tasted like eating sour cream right out of the container. Um . . . no thank you. I like sour cream in or on stuff but not by the spoonfuls. Then I discovered Oikos Not-So-Traditional-Greek Yogurt. The "crave-worthy key lime pie" flavor sold me. I'm hooked!
Bought some fudge at Cabela's (still on vacation) so now I've already decided how much of it I can have & counted it. Even if I could eat more of it, I'm finding some stuff is too rich now that I'm eating better. :-)
Starting the day out late and have had my eyes on this phone screen. Looking forward to this late lunch of colorful veggies stir fried. Might even add a turkey hit dog to the mix.
Don't know how it will taste but I've thrown together squash (yellow & zuchinni); red, yellow & orange peppers; mushrooms; Rotel (mild); & black beans. Not one for trying this too often (in small crockpot) so hope it turns out good!
Gym before husband needed car. Good workout moving steadily from one exercise to another. Pushed on treadmill to 153 hr, 30 min total time.
