Favorite walking area
One of my favorite local places to walk. I've set a goal of 10 miles a week, 250 for the year. I'm setting goals to build consistency with my walking
Enjoyed spring like weather to take a long walk by the creek today. Walked over 5 miles. Yay!

The farmer's market opened today and I got lots of wonderful vegetables to eat this week.
My "Happy Place" for a morning walk - close to my house with views of the mountains. Walked 2.5 miles this morning in 40 minutes.
Hiked 2.5 miles today in the foothills on trails that would have been a lot harder last year when I was heavier and more out of shape. Making progress!
It's having scenery like this nearby that has helped me exceed my goal of walking 520 miles in 2018. I made 523 miles year to date and don't plan on quitting. My weekly goal is 10 miles, so I may make 600 miles before the year is over.
Nothing makes a walk more enjoyable than the colors of Autumn. I took two walks today - a leisurely one of 1.6 miles and one at a much quicker pace for 2.7 miles. I enjoyed the season's scenery while getting in over 10,000 steps.
Thanksgiving at the lake. Beautiful place for a walk to enjoy the scenery and sunny Arizona weather.
