3 months, 3 5k's! On track for 12 for 12!On track for my goal of completing a 5k each month this year!I know- horrible duck face, but he is actually taking the photo with me!Actually put on some makeup today. I am deathly allergic to coconut (carry an epipen everywhere) and it seems like every new recipe I want to try or somebody raves about has coconut of some form in it. Old habits reared up as I started to think this day meant all the excuses for junk food. I resisted the unhealthy sandwiches and didn't get the chips and cookies. Instead, I walked back to the produce and got a banana.I bought this today- excited for summer to finally be here. When I rode it home, I realized I need to work on my core!Cucumber water for a bit of variety 🤗I only get to watch while I am doing cardio- perfect since it is a half hourBusy day at work last night! Digging deep to do it again, but for longer, tonight 😆Broiled salmon and (what's left of) a large green salad with reduced sugar craisins and aged balsamic vinegar 😋Made this fresh from the garden. I went light on the potatoes to keep the calories down. Onions and garlic sautéed in butter underneath. Grape tomatoes instead of slices, so my husband can avoid them( eye roll, love him 😍)Fresh from the garden caprese salad ðŸ¥— Caprese salad, fresh from my organic gardenTook this photo yesterday- I must have a skinny mirror at home because reality is shocking! I will use this as motivation 😳Note to self- never again buy a corner lot while living in snow country. Trying to go slow this time so I don’t get the shin splints.Walking laps in the gym before school starts. Thank goodness for audio books!Took my 5k training outdoors today. Hooray for getting up early enough to beat the heat!Posted a photoIt made me laughWe finished the "Freeze Your Gizzard Blizzard 5k" and got medals ðŸ˜ŠYummm! I had the calories left, so I exerted no self control. Ate the whole thing: 280 calories, 12g fiber, 24g protein. All in all, not feeling guilty one bit!Yummy salad for lunch!I have been getting my steps and sooo many "stairs"!Feeling proud! Of all the junk I could have bought at the gas station, I bought hard boiled eggs and cheese Breakfast and lunch prep for my short week!Saw the World's Largest Rubber Ducky today!11,000 + steps by 11:00 am, it's going to be a good day!Ran across this and it made me giggleEvery dollar I "earn" for workouts completed goes into my travel fund!From Saturday's 5k. Definitely not my best finish time, but I was running with my Aunt at her pace and I really enjoyed the quality time with her!Something I need to improve...So sick of snow and cold!I am starting to hear these words (almost 20 lbs down) and it feels great!
