Is caffeine a drug? After giving it up on Wednesday upon Dr's orders, I definitely think so!

So all my heart tests were okay, although the doc is sending me to a cardiologist. But I am having some PVC's, which come to find out, are not plumbing related (ha ha). Preventricular contractions are from stress and caffeine. I told the doc I only have 2 pops a day, but since they are the 32oz ones, he said it's time to quit. It's more tough than I ever imagined.

I went shopping on my business trip, and I am down a size. So other good news...blood glucose is down, A1C is down. Weight is down. Bad news, cholesterol is up. That is 4 good things and 1 bad thing and I am focusing on the bad thing. It's very disheartening.

However, I've got 3-6 months to see what I can continue to do with diet and exercise before the doc will put me on medication. I know I will work even harder, now that some of my values have gone down. I am also going to make more lifestyle changes. I am going to cut down to 30 hours per week beginning in May. I'm gonna work 8-5 on Monday and Wednesday, and 8-1 the rest of the time. I'm really excited! I'll be able to get my garden going again, and get the barn cleaned out, and build a chicken coop! It's going to be great!

Grats on your progress!!! Do your best to fix that cholesterol and I'm sure everything'll be fine. Yep. I think caffeine's a drug, too. It's a legal addictive stimulant, LOL. :)
