What the....?!?!?

Last night I could hardly sleep. I was so excited to get on the scale this morning. Yes, you heard me, I was actually looking forward to my weekly weigh-in! I was so GOOD this week. Weight training every other day, cardio 4x this week, 2 yoga classes, and I even kept a log of all calories/ food eaten each day to make SURE I didn't go over my limit.

As the digital numbers blinked and spun into accuracy, I had to gently remind myself not to get TOO excited about the 3 to 5 pound loss that I was sure to see on the scale. It was bound to be "mostly water", or beginners luck, or the effect of a lunar eclipse....

I got on and off the scale 3 times, just to be sure. The results of all my dedication and labor? I gained a pound and a half. *Sigh*

Seriously, wtf?
