Well I did a blog yesterday and lost it so I'm trying again today. Perseverance, right? LOL I didn't get my walk in yesterday it was grocery day but I was walking around Wal Mart and other places yesterday taking care of our needs. That counts doesn't it? LOL

This morning I walked with my other neighbor across the street. My other neighbor is gone for the week-end. I doubled my area. We walked all six streets.

Yesterday I took the table runner to my other sister. So I have my deliveries made before mother's day. I hope they enjoy them. We picked up the tickets for the musical my granddaughter is in. They are doing "The Wizard of Oz". The music teacher does such an awesome job. Those kids push themselves to the limit for him. This is a junior high production. Seventh and Eighth graders. No joke it is right up there with Broadway productions. The scenery the singing everything. He seems to know how to bring out their talent. My neighbor went last night she said it was incredible. We go Saturday. Last year they did "Beauty and the Beast". Such talent. Everyone who tries out is in the play somewhere. Kassie is one of the guards and a munchkin. She does something else too not sure what that is. Donna said they brought one of the original munchkins in and she spoke before the play.

I read the "Healthy Reflections" today and I do take time to appreciate the things around me. One of the things that struck me was how many shades of green there are. I plan to go outside ---sit ---and definitely notice all the different shades of green. My bluebirds have not been back since that morning. Bob is mowing the grass and I always enjoy the smell of fresh cut grass. I picked up some petunias and need to plant them. Plan to do some sewing and other than fix supper that pretty well sums up my day.

Hope everyone has a productive and peaceful day.

(((hugs)))

Marie, you sound like you had a wonderful day. How nice that you were able to get in a longer walk today with another neighbor.

I'm wishing you a Happy Mother's Day today, as I may be absent until Monday. We are hoping that my husband gets time off tomorrow so we can go and visit family.

Have an awesome evening, keep counting your blessings and appreciating all the lovely shades of green.
    Hugs,

Hi You are the second person mentioning Petunia's today.. This morn in one of my Huddles I wrote that I was thinking about My Mom.. A poem came on about Mom's & One of the Leaders of the team called us all Petunia's..
My Mom used to call me her little Petunia.. God's message to me for the day
I love the smell of freshly cut grass.. Your sister must have been so very happy with the quilted runner that you made for her as well.. I'm sure that she will be desplaying it with Love over the next few Generations.. Keep your eyes fixed on all the green, all around us.. I will too.. Love & Hugs Polly
