Have you ever thought about what you could do in 90 days? What you could accomplish?? I've been thinking about that for the past week.
The boys are out of school for the summer. For roughly 90 days. Usually the summer is quite miserable for me. C'mon...I've got 3 VERY active boys and during the summer there's not much going on for us. It can get very boring and tedious in a hurry. SO--
I decided that this summer would be DIFFERENT. I would NOT sit on the sofa and eat myself into oblivion for the whole summer. I would NOT drink myself into oblivion either..(well..the occasional beer or margarita maybe but not like I usually do in the summertime.)
This summer is going to be PRODUCTIVE. I am going to CHANGE my body, and mind..all in 90 days.
I've said all of this before...really I have, but what makes this time different is I am NOT going to overplan this. Usually when I set out on a goal I plan it to death, take all the fun out of it. Not this time.
I have owned Tony Horton's Power 90 Program for over two years. I have NEVER even once tried it. I've WATCHED the program..but never done the workouts..(HOW SILLY IS THAT??)
What got me spurred on is that I've been seeing this NEW Power 90 called P-90X. I have gone to the site to order it MANY times but kept telling myself that I didn't deserve it until I could succesfully complete the original Power 90 program.. Makes sense to me...and I REALLY WANT to do P90X...I get goosebumps every time I watch the commercial. Really. So I decided to dust off the Power 90 Program and DO it...and when I finish it I'm going to get the P90X and complete that one too. SO in 6 months I will be FINISHED and my body will be in TOP shape. (Actually I expect to be in excellent shape after finishing Power 90 and take it to the NEXT level using P90X)
So..Today was day 1 of the first 90 day program. I'm confident that I CAN get through this grueling bootcamp program. All it's gonna take is the "want to" and I've got that..
I'll be posting updates as I go through..(and MAYBE some pictures)
If you would like more information about the Power 90 and P90X programs you can go to this website.
So...that's what's on my mind today.....first workout is DONE..and it's the first step on the way to the NEW and IMPROVED CAT.
