Power 90 Bootcamp Day 2

Tuesday, June 03, 2008

Today was day two of Power 90 Bootcamp. Today was TOUGH on me. I swear I am SOOOO out of shape I just don't think I'll ever get to the level where this cardio exercise doesn't just slay me!!

I woke up this morning after doing the Power 90 Sculpt 1/2 Workout yesterday with muscles hurting I didn't even know I had. That's what being LAZY for as long as I have been LAZY will do for ya'. It's hard not to get disgusted with myself when I see these little skinny gym rats jumping around on the video and I'm pouring sweat and can't breathe..ugh...but I went over to my gym and worked out anyways. And even though I had to run in place for some of it instead of doing the moves they were doing on the DVD I STILL was moving..and that's what matters.

My eating yesterday was GREAT. I stayed within my ranges and drank all my water. Hopefully I can stick with it today.

I KNEW going into this Power 90 thing that it wasn't going to be a walk in the park. I have to keep telling myself that if I stick with it I WILL get through it, and when I come out on the other side I will fell SO MUCH BETTER!!

So here's to Tony new best friend for the next 90 days. I have a feeling I'm going to have a LOVE/HATE relationship with this guy. We'll have to see what happens. (Tony is the trainer on the Power 90 Workouts..and it doesn't hurt that he 's not so hard on the eyes..LOL)

You are doing a great job! Don't get discouraged, you are supposed to be sore and out of breath the first few days! (First few weeks for me lol)

Skinny gym rats....I laughed my fan off on this!!! Know what grosses them rats out - the fact that you're keeping up with them!! Trust me, I know!!!! I know in 2 weeks you'll be so much more improved you'll look back and laugh! Then in a month you'll be at the front of the class shaking your thing showing the rats what you're made of!!!!
