90 Day Bootcamp Day 4 Update:

Thursday, June 05, 2008

So today was day 4 of Bootcamp. I am SOOO Cranky today!! I truly believe that it's all sugar withdrawals. I've been 4 days without any sugar and my body is HATING it!! (although I know in the near future this will pass too.)

I stepped on the scale this morning and was down 4 and a half pounds since SUNDAY!! WOO HOO!!(not to mention in 4 days I have lost 6 inches off of my body..two of them off my waist!) The incredible SHRINKING WOMAN!!

Today's workout almost KILLED ME!! I jogged/walked intervals for 25 minutes, and plan on doing another round later this afternoon.

I am on my LAST pack of cigarettes today. Once these are gone that's it. There's just no way I can keep on smoking and continue working out and getting any kind of good results.

My eating since I stared has been FLAWLESS. No sugar, a gallon of water a day, staying within my ranges on calories, fat, and carbs and proteins.(basically a bodybuilder's diet)

I won't lie...it's TOUGH!! But I am resolute in my goals and WILL NOT BUDGE!!

I found this awesome video on Youtube yesterday that really inspires me:

I have it bookmarked and everytime I think about not working out I'm gonna watch it...

Here's a GREAT quote I found too:
"It's hard to beat a person who believes in his or her own strength. And I believe in mine." And When I wake up in the morning, I have to decide to either be an example or an excuse."
I choose to be an example what about you?"

That's all for today folks...Gonna go do a protein smoothie and get on with my bad self... emoticon

I too am a newer quitter to smoking. Give youself a week after you quit. Suddenly you'll see how much better your breathing is!

I recently heard a statement that grabbed my attention. If you're feeling overwhelmed wth your goals then you're not doing something right. Hmmm........ Adjustments for me were and are needed.

    Keep on!!! You're doing awesome!
