It has come to my realization this past week that I am getting addicted to the pain that comes from HARD working out. What I'm speaking of here is the SORENESS afterwards. The sweat that drips down my back, the sweat that pours off my face after a good workout. The BURN.
Granted..at this point it doesn't take MUCH to get me there...but every day I get a little stronger and can go a little longer.
Take this week for example.
Yesterday I did The FIRM Hi-Def Sculpt workout. The entire workout. Before I could only do the express option and the next day I could barely walk. This morning I wasn't that sore at all. That's PROGRESS!!
Today..I did The FIRM Total Sculpt Plus Abs workout. Now bear in mind that I have two left feet so I did basic step moves in place of all of the dancey step combos and jogged in place for most of the 4 limb cardio, but I STILL got through the entire workout!! All 58 minutes of it!! AND then I came back this afternoon and did 25 minutes of the Tae Bo Cardio Circuit 1. Why not all 40 something minutes?? Well..because my legs tried to give out..LOL.
But I WILL get through both in one day by the end of next week!!
I can't wait to get new batteries put in my Heart Rate Monitor so I can see how many calories I'm burning..because I'll be t it's a LOT.
It's funny how this ex-couch potato has become addicted to exercise in less than two weeks. I just LOVE the way it makes me feel...I think I get a true rush off of it!! Love the BURN!!
