Wondering Where All My OOMPH Went...

The past two weeks have been Phenomenal. I have had more energy than I have in YEARS!! I've worked out 6 days a week for two weeks straight...and today was to be no different. However; my body has something different in mind.

I put in Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred and got through 10 minutes of it and wanted to collapse!! So I waited a few minutes and put on some Tae Bo...Nope.. 7 minutes into it same thing...

Where did all of my OOMPH go?? I want it BACK!!

I just feel SO pooped today I can barely stand it!! Maybe i'll make a power smoothie and feel a little better...but I'm thinking this is my body's way of saying...REST!!

Maybe tomorrow will be better??

    Hi! I had some similar problems earlier this year. I just couldn't get through workouts and I was exhausted all the time. After fighitng the doctors, telling them it was not depression, we found out I was Vitamin D deficient (Severly). So, I was put on a Vitamin D supplement (pharacutical grade) and magnesium supplement. It tood a few days, but I got all of my OOMPH back! The magnesium is just as important as the Vitamin D! You might want to give that a try!

    I know exactly what your going through. I will go for long periods of time just exercising like crazy and then one day I will try to do anything and can't do one for over five or six minutes. Our bodies are telling us it needs to rest. So do yourself and your body a favor and relax for a little while and before you know it you will be back at it again.

    I agree...I think this is your body saying it needs a day to rest. On days we rest, our body does some amazing work repairing muscle we've been breaking down working out. So, take the rest day, take it easy. This will allow your body to recover!

    I did just the same thing...working out 6x a week & feeling great & my body also said..hey slow down!! So now, I do 5 days of difficutt cardio (like Jillian's shred) & on the 6th day I either just walk or do low impact swimming. Its hard to slow down when you are on a roll, but you have to listen to your body. Good luck & keep up te great work!
