I Just Smoked My LAST Cigarette..

Tuesday, June 24, 2008

Seriously...I did.

I'm freaking out now...

Anxiety, nervous, chomping on gum. I really hope this gets easier as the days go by...

Wish me LUCK!! I'm really going to need it. I'm doing it cold turkey this time...no pills, no patches, no drugs, NOTHING. Just my own WILL.

How's it going? I quit November 2004 -- and never think about them. i love the freedom quitting gave me. I always hated when i got in my car, checked how many cigarettes I had and new I'd have to stop for them. It's amazing what a grip they have on us and how free we are when we quit! You can do it.!!!!

emoticon Hi! I saw your blog & I HAD to post back. I just quit smoking on April 23rd!! It's been 2 months & 1 day now (yes, I remember it well & so will you)!! I did use the patch at first, although I didn't use it like they suggest--I used the first step for a week & then the 2nd step for 2 weeks (or it may have been the other way aroiund) & then I stopped using them completely & just did it on my own. YOU CAN DO IT!!!! Believe me, I know you can! I found the best thing for me to do was just to not talk about it--to ANYONE!!! If I didn't talk about it, I didn't think about it & if I didn't think about it I didn't do it!! Thats just the way my mind works though. I also kept my hands & thoughts busy doing something else that consumed my time & that I enjoyed (which for me, is playing the Sims 2 PC game).

I WISH YOU ALL THE LUCK IN THE WORLD!! If you ever want to talk about it or anything else besides that, just send me a message!!

    emoticon Good Luck!
