First Week

I'm starting my first week here and hope to keep the energy up to start losing this darn weight. I hate the way I feel and lack of energy. It takes so much more energy to do things when you're lugging around an extra 60 pds. This week's goals are to drink 8 glasses of H2O, hike 5 days, start the 10 minute bootcamp video workouts, log in on Sparkpeople 5 days.

Monday - a pretty good day. Hiked Bald Rock trail for 75 minutes of hiking. It felt good to get out there but hard to motivate myself in the morning to go.

Tuesday - couldn't get myself up and dressed to hit the trail today. I had time but couldn't get going. I did walk 9 holes of golf, danced for 5 mins and did Day #1 bootcamp video. Better than nothing but missed the hiking which I need.

Wednesday - hiked Maidens Cliff today, 60 minutes on loop trail. Managed to reach top with only one brief stop for catching my breath. Need to pick it up so I can breeze up this trail with no stops. Tonight I'll do the video Bootcamp #2 as I don't have weights at camp - picking some up tonight from house. Looking for next week to get out backpacking for 3 days on the AT again. Need to pick off a few more miles.
