The Good & Bad (no uglies this time!)

Friday, September 05, 2008

Work:
+++We started school back on Aug 18th and the kids returned a week later. I received SO many compliments from staff and kids... I can't believe it, still. I lost most of the weight last year but I guess a break from me, another 10 lbs, and some new clothes did wonders. I hope I can motivate others.

--- I'm sick! My throat is raw and my head feels huge. I get really tired too so I barely make it through the work day.

+++ I had a glowing internship observation and am in the last year of grad school.

--- I'm taking 6 credits this fall! And another 9 or so in the Spring!!

Komen 3-Day Walk
+++I am still walking 60 miles and FINALLY got some money.

--- I still need $1500 more!!! Quick, throw money and/or ideas my way! (seriously, either is appreciated. if you want to donate, its www.the3-day.org and search for gernert as a last name... only time I'll mention this anywhere on SP).

+++I've been walking Tyler (my pup) and done a few longer ones. I've gone 2 months or so with 20 minute or more daily walks. Streaking along!

---I was psyched to do 18 then 15 miles this weekend. Hannah (the storm) has other ideas...

Lifestyle:
+++ I lost a pound and reordered my bridesmaid's dress (again!) in a size (OMG!!) 8 bottom and 6 top.

--- I've been bad about tracking food... but I haven't gained so its not THAT bad.

+++I'm getting back into SP.

--- There is no way I'll have enough time this year to be as active as I was last year.

Misc:
--- The 2 houses I have liked so far fell through after I put bids in.

+++ There's a house out there that's even bigger, newer, and better!!!
